Exotic tours to Africa

Thanks to modern capabilities, a person can get to the most remote corners of the planet. All you need is money and desire. Expensive exotic tourism is constantly developing and there are more and more people who want to spend a truly unforgettable vacation every year.

Safari

Safari is now associated with hunting, but originally the word means travel. It’s just that the first travelers went to Africa exclusively with weapons – and over time, the concept began to mean hunting. However, at the end of the 20th century, due to the mass shooting of wild animals, safari as hunting was prohibited.

Now this concept is used to designate a jeep trip to the wilderness. Instead of a weapon – binoculars, you cannot do without them, as well as modern weapons – cameras, camcorders, smartphones.

Safari for tourists is organized in accordance with special rules, in permitted places, with the participation of accompanying persons. Ranger guides must be licensed. And only they can have a weapon – to protect against wild animals in an emergency.

People who come on safari are accommodated in cottages on the territory of the national park. After sunset, it is forbidden to move around the territory without a local escort-employee. Here, not only tourists observe the life of wild animals in their natural environment, but also vice versa – animals can follow the movements of tourists, attack and cause harm.

Organize individual group safari programs. The latter are several times more expensive.
The greatest interest among tourists is caused by the big African five – lion, leopard, rhino, buffalo, elephant.

Masai Mara, Kenya

Masai Mara National Park is the main tourist destination in Kenya. The country is poor, however, Masai Mara attracts tourists not with a developed infrastructure, but with an unforgettable local nature, and also take part in a safari.

The natural conditions here are quite mild – it is hot during the day, but there is no strong heat, since the park is located at an altitude of 1650 meters above sea level. In March-April and November, it rains in the evening and at night.

Masai Mara is one of the most frequently visited African national parks. This place is of particular interest among tourists from June to October. At this time, animals migrate through the park – antelopes, zebras. And then predators appear – lions, cheetahs. Therefore, during this period, you can not only admire the animals in the wild, but also witness the hunt.

In the national park, you can order a hot air balloon flight – and watch the animals in the savanna from above.

Lions are considered the main local attraction. The reserve has a special marsh pride that has been watched for over 30 years. From the car you can look at the lions very close – metal cars are not of interest to animals, and you cannot get out of them – the behavior of humans and animals in such conditions is difficult to control.

Serengeti, Tanzania

The national park is located in Tanzania, it is the largest national park in Africa, it stretches for about 15 thousand kilometers. This place is especially attractive because on the one hand it borders on the second deepest lake in the world – Victoria, on the other hand there is a point no less attractive for tourists – a mountain

Kilimanjaro

The most attractive season for tourists is the great drought season – during this time migration takes place. In late October-November, hundreds of people gather to see hundreds of thousands of animals unite in huge herds in search of water and food. The “African Five” is also found here. Only it will hardly be possible to meet rhinos – there are too few of them left in Tanzania.

At the edge of the national park, tourists can visit Ngorongoro, the crater of an extinct volcano. However, this area should not be traveled without a guide – according to estimates, this is where the largest number of wild animals in the entire national park.
