This hill got its name thanks to the huge golden statue of Buddha, which was installed in 1977. This statue is surrounded by 15 others, each of them is about 2 meters high. At the very top of the hill there is a Buddhist temple. At the entrance to it you can buy candles, incense and 3 leaves of gold leaf. In the temple itself, there are three statues of Buddha, near which you can conduct a small ceremony to fulfill your wishes. It is enough to light and install a candle and aroma sticks in a special stand, while making a wish. But if something hurts you, you should attach a golden leaf to the statue in the place that worries you and, according to the belief, healing will come.

Khao Keo Zoo
This is one of the few zoos in the world that lacks cages. All animals move freely and live in conditions as close as possible to their natural habitat. Visitors can get quite close to them and even feed them.
The territory of Khao Keo is huge, so to see all the inhabitants, it is best to rent an electric car at the entrance. The zoo brings together representatives of the fauna from different parts of the world. Here you can see:

On the territory of the snake farm, there are not only snakes. Frogs, spiders and monkeys can also be seen here.
Temple of Truth
The construction of this magnificent temple began with funds from Lek Viriyaphant, an extraordinary millionaire who is a Thai patron of culture. The style of this building is close to the ancient chamber architecture.
Its walls are completely covered from the outside with skillful wood carvings, which depict the plots of Indian and Thai mythology. Such a carving is so delicate and painstaking work that the construction of the temple is still ongoing.
Inside, the temple is divided into four parts, each of which is dedicated to the culture and philosophy of a particular country:
- Kazhboji;

- Thailand.
